MEDIATION & CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Centerpoint assists individuals resolve conflicts that reduce productivity and disrupt the work environment. We offer formal mediation and customized conflict resolution services.

Conflict is a natural outcome of people working together. In most cases, the differences between people generate lively and productive exchanges of information and opinions, which actually enhances the creativity and effectiveness of those involved. However, there are times when conflict becomes destructive to a workplace and a formal process is required to facilitate a resolution satisfactory to all the participants.

Mediation involves a neutral party facilitating a dialogue between individuals who are frustrated by their own efforts to resolve their problem. Centerpoint Mediators use proven approaches to help reach mutually satisfactory solutions. Our mediation interventions include an assessment of the situation, pre-mediation interviews, formal mediation, and follow-up.

We also provide less formal conflict resolution services using a combination of facilitation, professional coaching, communications training and problem solving.

Our Mediators have extensive training in conflict resolution, and professional experience in human resources management, labor relations, facilitation, and relationship counseling.
